Last year the pumpkins had snow on them, thanks to a snowstorm on October 30th. This year, despite all the warnings, we were lucky that the impact from hurricane Sandy was so slight for this part of Maine. The footage and reports from New York and New Jersey tell a much different story, and our thoughts and prayers are with them there. Hard to believe that we were in New York city just 72 hours before the storm.
