Early May – random stuff

The weather seems to have turned a corner and we’ve had some lovely warm and sunny days. The gardens are raked and weeded, onions and leeks planted, a cold-frame constructed and seeds started. Curtains are washed and ironed, and next on the list is window-cleaning! it is all very cathartic.

Kat, Ian and family will  be here in a month to spend a couple of weeks before moving to their new abode in New Jersey – can’t wait to see them and snuggle those little guys.

Dennis has been working hard on the camp in Liberty and is making slow, but good progress. Henk, Agnita and girls will be here over Memorial Day to give him a hand.

Nan and I took a cooking class taught by chef Phil Crispo (new owner of Norumbega Inn) on Indian food – yum! and good info and fun.
