A Snowy February in Maine

We are in the thick of winter, but lighter evenings and longer days bring promise for what is around the corner – Spring!

Even though the days with bright blue skies and sparkling white snow are beautiful, there is something so peaceful about the monochromatic scenes when the snow is falling.

Walks with harbor views in icy hues, and snow-shoeing at Moosepoint State Park are enjoyable.

Our grandson’s hockey game against Cony High School was rough and exciting. He and the other Seniors on the team were recognized, and their team pulled off a win.

Grand-daughter, McKayla, also plays in the net!

  1. Wow Chris, lovely photos and a wonderful post:) we are missing you guys and I am sure you are missing the bright and warm sunny days that you shared with us here! Just to make you jealous… the days are still very bright, sunny and warm and the night temperatures are hovering around 5-8 degrees C 🙂
