A closed chapter – “That Camp Life”

It was time to say goodbye, and once the decision was made the reality came quickly. Within 12 hours of our camp being listed it was under contract and today we closed the deal. We like the new owners and they love the place; they have a good twenty years on us and have the energy to keep the place up and to enjoy it.

It was a good run … we had many enjoyable family events there – Thanksgivings and cookouts. The kids kayaked and fished the pond; friends stayed; parties were had. Many guests enjoyed it through AirBnB and VRBO – they stayed and left glowing reviews and notes in our guest book.

We spent the last week there and got out and enjoyed the surrounding area instead of working on the place! We had fires in the fireplace and had a few friends over (COVID safe!!)
