Our little CoCo Cabana tucked away on Bougainvillea Road in Coconut Grove, Miami.
With two bicycles for us to use on our explorations.
Day one: Villa Vizcaya.
This beautiful Mediterranean inspired villa, on the shores of Biscayne Bay, is the former winter estate of Chicago businessman James Deering. The early 20th century villa (built 1912-16) also comprises extensive Italian Renaissance gardens. The estate property originally consisted of 180 acres of shoreline mangrove swamps and dense inland native tropical forests, but today 50 acres remain.
This large kitchen cabinet (about 12 feet wide) was filled with Quimper.
