Mtskheta- try pronouncing that!

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral located in Mtskheta, the original capital, was built in the 11th century. The town sits at the confluence of the Mtkvari (Kura) and Aragvi rivers.

We visited the National Museum in Tbilisi and saw some ancient gold artifacts and also the part of the museum related the Soviet occupation.

Dinner was a special affair at a fancy restaurant for our final time together as a group. I have to say the group of 20 were amazing and all very seasoned world travelers.
