We set off from Maine on Wednesday and dodged some dicey weather that was just west of us.
This is Ffly’s first major road trip (#thelifeofFfly) and she has hit 14 states so far (NH, MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, WV, VA, TN,AL, MS, LA, TX) and been a trooper on the long days in the car and overnight stays in hotels/ motels. We made as many frisbee breaks as we could along the way! and she had her beloved greenball in the hotel rooms!
We knew we were in the south when we hit Gadsden, AL and went to Pruett’s Barb-B-Q for dinner!
From the concrete jungle of I-10 and western Houston to the middle of nowhere Texas with fabulous cheap avocados, peppers, honey and salsa! and what about the petrol prices???
Our destination! our little bungalow in Corpus Christi with the lovely waterfront walk just a short walk away.
