Tbilisi is a terrific city for walking – other than the hills!
Yesterday we walked from the river through the Botanical Garden and ended up atop the hill at the Mother of Georgia statue! Only to return to town down numerous steps and twisting paths! (We didn’t have enough “cash only” for the cable car!)
On our way down we looked in at a neighborhood church.
There are some lovely neighborhoods in the old town with these gorgeous ornate balconies.
And some good street art.
The Government House where the recent demonstrations have taken place.
