Here in Maine, despite our abundance of water, we are in the midst of a drought! Rainfall has been sparse this summer and it is noticeable in the garden. Nonetheless, we are so fortunate! We live on the Passagassawakeag (“Passy” for short) River; Belfast is on Penobscot Bay; our camp is on Stevens Pond and we are surrounded by beautiful lakes, ponds, bays, rivers.
During our hot (for Maine) August weather we took advantage of taking to the water!
