We managed to escape the snowy northeast USA in a 24-hour window of opportunity to arrive in Amsterdam on February 25th to a very Spring-like day – temperatures reached 64 degrees!
Nita, Dennis and I took a short drive to the picturesque village of Durgerdam – situated on Ijmeer and just 7 km from Amsterdam.
