We arrived Mayport to summer-like weather (mid-80’s!)! Acclimatization needed. This swiftly changed to cool breezes and high temps of mid-60’s. That’s fine!
Pelican Roost RV park is ideally situated with an expansive white sand beach just a short walk away. We don’t have an agenda, other than enjoying having nothing on the agenda!
We’re enjoying our front row view of shipping traffic coming in and out of Mayport Naval Station and the St. John River – which leads to the Jacksonville port.
.. and the beach is just a 10 minute walk away.
