Wrapping up 2024

Excitement had built with the fearsome4some in Snoqualmie as gifts weren’t opened until Boxing Day evening (we only arrived late on the 25th).

Haircuts and manicures were part of the fun!

Daisy was always part of the action – or in-action!

Dennis had quite the night and received a well-deserved honor at the Kraken vs Utah game in front of 17,000 spectators on December 30th. At each game a service member is selected to be honored before and during the singing of the National Anthem. Kat had put his name forward and it was chosen.

On the morning of 31st we took off for Fairbanks, Alaska where we have a cute little house for the week.

It is gorgeous here with ice packed city streets, huge clumps of snow lodged in the trees, a foot of snow insulating the roofs and bright blue skies.

We ended the year fulfilling my wish of seeing the green northern lights. What a show Mother Nature put on despite the apps saying there was only a 1% chance of a view! Ha!
