The beauty of this city cannot be overstated. The setting on the crystal clear Adriatic; the mosaic of red tiled roofs; the limestone block buildings, and shiny limestone cobbled alleys and throughways. The harbor with boats bobbing on the turquoise water ringed by the city walls, and the many beautiful churches, chapels and monasteries.
Arriving from Zagreb on a very windy afternoon.

The massive stone ramparts and fortified towers circle the city. Tomorrow we will “walk the walls” as I did back in the ‘80s.
Dubrovnik in the evening.

This morning we took one of our favorite Free Spirit Walking tours – our guide Pero was excellent. And we learned so much about the city and its history.

How beautiful! I want to hear how walking the walls now compares to walking the walls in the ’80s. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos. Happy Easter!
