Another bus ride along the coastal road heading toward Dubrovnik to the small town of Omis. Situated where the Cetina River flows in to the Adriatic Sea, Omis is known for its old world charm, steep canyon, and pirate history.
Omis offers a mix of old-town charm with the usual stone alleyways with the shiny limestone tile paving and beaches with the crystal clear water. High atop the town is the fortress Starigrad.

Instead of climbing to the fortress for views we opted for a boat ride on the Cetina River.
