The end of August and early September is my favorite time of year in Maine. Many of the visitors have headed south, and the weather is delightful.
The rocky coastline and lighthouse at Pemaquid Point is so quintessentially Maine.

We’ve had Ffly in the household for about 6 weeks and enjoy lots of activity and adventures with her.

Soon we’ll be seeing the fearsome 4some and their parents! Meanwhile we enjoy seeing what they get up to on the other side of the country.
I never tire of the view of the harbor and Penobscot Bay when walking to,town.
..and then there is “that camp life”! Tranquility on Stevens Pond.
