Last day in Dorset

We’ve had stunningly beautiful weather and have put a few miles on the rental car.

Today we visited Dorchester, the county seat, for a stroll around town and the newly developed Brewery Square (where the former Eldridge Pope brewery was – now condos, high end restaurants and shops.

To the coast at Durdle Door and Lulworth. While the coastline remains unchanged and as beautiful as ever, the places where I once roamed and walked along the cliff tops are now “destinations”!

While driving through one of the villages, we saw a roof being re-thatched.

And on our way through Wool had to stop at Woolbridge (which is no longer open to vehicular traffic).

One last cottage garden!
