Around the Plaza in Santa Fe

A leisurely afternoon browsing some galleries with some amazing artwork (especially Galerie Zueger with a huge and amazing selection of Gib Singleton bronzes) and jewelry, which was totally out of my price range, but exquisite at Manitou Galleries. the pottery at Andrea Fisher Fine Pottery was just too enticing and we purchased a tiny Acoma pot. We poked our heads in and wandered  around some other interesting shops. We also visited the New Mexico Museum of Contemporary Art, and  had time to view a special “cowboys  real and imagined” exhibit at  New Mexico History Museum (where we’ll return today to finish rest of museum). We capped off the afternoon with a memorable margarita at the La Fonda. Cheers, Pat! And then a delicious dinner at Jambo’s (oh! My goodness! African/Carribean cuisine at its best!)
