Our day started with a stop in the little market town of Westport – just 25km or so from Mulranny,

We continued on country roads alongside and with views of Lough Conn to Crossmolina…
…for a pub lunch at Haney’s
Across country to join the Wild Atlantic Way (that we have spent much time on on this trip) to Ballycroy National Park and back home.
I’m loving this. My mother’s’ family left County Cork during the potato famine, and I did visit once.
