The morning started with getting up early and working in the vegetable and flower gardens. What a joy to have the cool breezes and hear loons on the river. Dennis went off to Daisy Chain Farm to pick 4lbs of organic strawberries while I cut some more peonies to bring indoors.
Time to get dressed and off to an inaugural tea in friend, Suzanne’s, tea-house. Her gardens are as spectacular as her table and offerings!
And then … a few miles down the road to Lincolnville Beach for picnic, live music and fireworks – such a beautiful setting and enjoyable evening with friends.
Oooh! the fireworks were fabulous!
